Dr. Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon, who performed surgery on Kanye West’s mother, Donda West is set to appear on CNN’s ‘Larry King Live’ at 8 p.m., on Tuesday, November 20, 2007.

The interview is Adams’ first public appearance after Donda’s demise and coincides the day of Donda West’s funeral in Oklahoma City.

Adams reportedly performed a tummy tuck and breast reduction on Donda before she developed post surgery complications and subsequently passed away on November 10, 2007.

He has been then accused for Donda’s death but has maintained that the death was unforeseen and could have been caused by a heart attack, a pulmonary embolism or massive vomiting.

The case of Donda West’s death became more controversial when another doctor, Andre Aboolian from Beverly Hills claimed that Donda had approached him for the same surgery but he told her to get a clearance from an internist for undergoing the same.

Adams has refuted Aboolian’s allegations that he performed the surgery negligently without keeping track of her medical condition as he said:

He [Dr Aboolian] is sleazy and manipulating the truth to elevate his own importance.

Donda West was former chairwoman of Chicago State University’s English department. She left her job in 2004 to help her son, Kanye West. Since then she was assisting him devotedly to climb the success ladder. Kanye is devastated and yet to overcome the unexpected loss of his mother.

The autopsy performed on November 13 has confirmed that Donda died ‘as a result of surgery or anesthesia’.

So all you were curious to know about fatal plastic surgery from the doctor itself then you can watch it live today on CNN’s Larry King Live.
