After the stunning announcement – followed by a quick denial – of her plans to kill her alter ego, Love has struck us point blank with another hilarious announcement. She wants to sell off all the rights to Kurt Cobain’s music – so she can move on!
The Scotsman quotes her as saying in an interview,
I’m thinking about selling off all of Kurt’s publishing. All of the rights, everything. It’s not a financial decision; it’s an emotional one. He was the best friend I’ve ever had, but Kurt and I were only married for three years, and now I need to have my own life. I’m always ‘the widow’ and that drives me nuts. That money has been cursed since the day it started to come in.
So Love, you mean to say the money you’ll get by selling off the rights is going to carry some kind of special blessings from Kurt?! I think the world has been chasing the shadow from a wrong perspective for all these years. The real thing is… you are the only one who is sane; the rest of the world is nuts. Period.
