Divorce and custody wars are not new in Hollywood. Following this path are Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson who are colliding head-on for the custody of their son. The rocker has filed for a joint legal and physical custody of their two year old son Bronx, while Ashlee has reportedly filed for a primary physical custody.

The singer/actress stunned the pop world when she filed for divorce on 7 February (11), citing “irreconcilable differences”.
She asked for primary physical custody of baby Bronx, but Wentz has challenged her request, lodging his response in a Los Angeles court on Monday (07Mar11), exactly one month after his ex. The former Fall Out Boy star has also asked for each party to pay its own legal fees, reports Tmz.com
It is astounding how and when even the most beautiful relationships can turn sour. Known for their affectionate appearances, their sudden separation announcement early this year and now this custodial battle has stunned everyone in the music world. At one point they were preparing to celebrate Valentine???s in the most romantic manner but now the plans have taken a different turn. What everyone thought would be an easy separation is turning rocky with fresh news pouring in. Well, all we can do is pray that the child gets love of both parents and becomes a reason to end all differences.
