She’s a grandmother of four but she still takes pride in flaunting her perfect figure and lighting up the runway with her presence. At the age of 80, Daphne Selfe has become Britain’s oldest model and my first octogenarian crush!
Miss Selfe, who started her modeling career in 1950, still models for ace brands like D&G, Gap, Nivea and Olay. She’s a regular with top agency Models 1 and has also appeared in Vogue and Marie Claire. she was paid 15 guineas (the equivalent to £15.75) for her first modeling job but now she commands a decent £1,000 a day.
If this is not enough to send the message across to arrogant young models, then let me tell you that Miss Selfe still boasts a 36-26-36 figure and has NEVER had any cosmetic surgery!
