You’ll Spoil the Friendship
If you enter that territory, you will not only lose the guy you are eyeing, you will also cause your brother’s best friend to go away from him. Now, that is a mean thing to do to your dear brother and hence, it is best that you stay away from your brother’s best friend entirely.

God forbid, if any set of parents realise this, there will be havoc. Complete, wrecked havoc! A situation you’d rather not deal with. There is a good chance that your brother’s friend will be given a sound beating over your advances towards him.
