Debbie Rowe, Michael Jackson’s ex-wife and the mother to Jacko’s two kids, has settled her custody dispute over Jacko’s kids. Though there is no money involved, the agreement looks far from normal because of some strange stipulations.
TMZ reports,
Rowe has agreed that Katherine Jackson will be the guardian of Michael’s children, subject to the judge’s approval. Rowe will get visitation of the two children she had with Michael. But here’s what’s interesting — Rowe wants and will get a psychologist who will visit the children and help them adjust to her being in their lives on a meaningful basis. Rowe will maintain her parental rights.
I think this is the best solution possible for this issue and this shows that Debbie is not in favor of extending the dispute and turning it into an ugly battle. However, I still don’t crack what she wanted to score with that “psychologist” clause. Maybe that’s the real catch. Anyway, only time will tell if she’s really selfless or just paving the path for a more lucrative deal.
