Demi Lovato decides not to return to the third season of her popular Disney Channel series, Sonny with a Chance. The young singer-actress plans to concentrate on her singing career for a while since she feels that coming in front of camera will make her nervous. Demi Lovato was released from a Chicago rehabilitation center in January after three months treatment for mental trauma. Lovato thinks that appearing in the Disney series will not be healthy for her recovery.
According to ShowbizSpy, Demi says,
It made sense for me to go ahead and leave the show to focus on my music. It???s kind of sad for me that a chapter of my life has ended but there couldn???t be a better time for me to move on. I don???t think going back to Sonny would be healthy for my recovery. Being in front of a camera would make me nervous.
Demo Lovato has been playing the role of a teenager Sonny Munroe in the Disney comedy series created by Steve Marmel. Producers of the show and the network have expressed sympathy towards the young actress for her inability to come back into the show. A Disney channel representative said that the channel respected her decision to focus on her music career. Lovato is a wonderful actress with inherent talent. But right now she is in efforts to improve her health.
