Diageo Company to launch fruit-alcohol mix for the young crowd

fruitellaDiageo Company is going to launch 100 percent fruit drinks that will be launched in the UK in the month of May and it will be coming in three flavors of mango & passionfruit, raspberry & blueberry and orange & tropical fruits flavours, with one unit of alcohol. The drink is called as Quinn and is available in 250ml bottle and you will get at RRP of GBP1.50 in the off-trade and GBP2.75 in the on-trade. This drink is promoted on large scale with a campaign of GBP8.5m.

The drink will cater to the young crowds as it gives them alcohol-refreshing drink. According to the spokeswoman of Diageo:

We have identified a new category called fruit ferment, since Quinn’s is not a ready-to-drink. It has been developed for people in their mid-20s who want a refreshing alcohol drink, best enjoyed in a long glass over ice.
