In a further attempt to make a safer environment for women outside their homes, Goonda Daman Dal was created on December 24,2009. This team would act on any complaint of goodaism/hooliganism all over the district.

Extortionists/ Rangdari
Chain and Purse Snatchers
Local goons who try to intimidate the general public
The Team consists of 12 members, all being sports persons of National/ State level including a Lady Sub Inspector. The team would be under the overall supervision of Happy Guptan, ASP Ghaziabad. Mr Pawan Kuma r(9871129411) TI Ghaziabad would be leading the team, who would be assisted by Mr. Sanjeev Kumar (09999993088).
All complaints of such nature can be given to the Mahila Helpline number of the District which would be operational 24 hours.
