The 29-year old starlet apparently loved the bawdy jokes shared by her Irish and British crew members at the Your Highness sets. The gorgeous Natalie plays a medieval action figure, Isabel, in her new film.
While shooting in County Antrim and County Down in North Ireland, the actress discovered the improper sense of humor of the her co-actors, but she insists that she wasn???t offended by it.
Natalie revealed,
Their dirty jokes made me laugh so much. I wasn???t outraged, although they were scandalous!
She did, however, also add that although she was pretty cool with sharing a chuckle over a dirty joke, it wasn???t always appropriate. Showbizspy quoted her as saying,
However, there???s a time and a place for jokes and sometimes things are inappropriate ??? like first thing in the morning, like 5.00am ??? but I???m not too precious about that kind of thing.
She insists that she doesn???t want to be typecast in a particular genre of films just because she won an Oscar for a serious film. We agree, Natalie, wholeheartedly. After watching you in the spine-tingling portrayal of a tormented Nina in Black Swan, we???ve been waiting to see you in a lighter character.
The Oscar winner also said she would love to appear in comedies and other light-hearted films too, because they are so much more fun to do. Now, that???s what we like to see. A star with a sense of humor.
