When I was writing the article on Donald Trump giving a 10,000 dollar tip to a waiter, I was still a little skeptical about the truth of the story. True to my suspicion, Mr. Trump didn’t tip the waiter ten thousand dollars.
The celebrity tycoon claims that he was not even in California at that time. According to him, the Donald Trump signature that we saw on the receipt was a fake one. Donald thinks that this is yet another publicity stunt made by the restaurant.
As a matter of fact, Donald Trump called the Buffalo club a ‘stupid’ restaurant. When asked about this issue, Mr.Trump said:
This was done by the stupid restaurant to get publicity.It’s not my signature.
I guess that explains everything. At Derober.com, the receipt printed a bunch of green dollar signs right next to the signatures. Also, in the previous article when they were talking about Donald Trump’s buddy, they never mentioned another name.
The ten thousand dollar ‘tip’ on a eighty two dollar bill sounds too good to be true. Nevertheless, this was a very interesting publicity stunt on the restaurant’s part.
