Al-khobar | Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: The Governor of Eastern Province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Chairman of Board of Directors, Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University (PMU), HRH Prince Mohammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz approved construction of PMU residence housing project. The Province Governor has donated 140 thousand square meter land to PMU for this project which is exclusive housing facility for PMU students, faculty and staffs.
The residential campus of PMU inside this huge piece of land will facilitate accommodation to two thousand students, faculty members and supporting staffs. It also includes many recreational facilities and support services which will help PMU expand its resources further.
The Governor expressed his views by assuring total support to PMU housing project. He also stressed that the PMU administration must monitor this project to assure it is processed with high quality. Instruction should be given to the contractors to maintain high standard.
“It will pave the way to resolve obstacles in developmental steps,” said PMU Rector, Dr. Issa Al-Ansari. “Excellent architectural design in this project would attract attention of students, faculty and staffs,” said Dr. Al-Ansari. The Rector emphasized that “this housing project is not generalized one.” “It will play crucial role to spread the PMU culture of diversity and enriching the living experience of the residents,” said he.
A learnable and integrated lifestyle will be the reward for residents of this proposed housing project for which quality materials will be used to build buildings. Dr. Al-Ansari briefed about the proposed establishment plan of this project that will be entirely modern architecture with mosque, schools, shops, gardens and parking facilities inside campus.
He also told that PMU works keenly to offer best platform to the graduating students for bright career with professional excellence. They are groomed with theoretical and practical training and orientation during their stay in the university.
