American Pie Council’s (APC) National Pie Championship in Celebration was held in Florida. The competition was won by Edwards Gourmet Desserts, where it got four blue ribbons for its Banana Creme Pie, Butterfinger Pie, Edwards Key Lime Slices and Turtle Pie.

Edwards Gourmet Desserts in Georgia are reputed worldwide for its puddings and lime pies, and this year it has also collaborated with American Pie Council to promote the American Pie heritage. The initiative taken by the dessert Company to pay tribute to the pie tradition of America stands out in the Second Annual ‘Invent your Own Indulgence’ recipe contest.
The National Pie Championship is conducted every year to celebrate the pie baking tradition of America and educate and instill the same spirit in the future generations by organizing special programmes during the time of celebration.
