I knew it was going to happen! Governor Sarah Palin has received a verbal sucker punch from Ellen DeGeneres. And why it happened, is anyone’s guess. Obviously, because of Sarah Palin’s take on gay marriages. And I’m sure Governor Sarah Palin is an enlightened woman now! To have a difference of opinion on any issue is a normal human tendency, but always going against the tide, just to make your presence felt, is a foolish thing to do.
DeGeneres was talking on her show (to be aired later today) about the CNN news channel, when she took a slight detour and brought the topic on Sarah Palin. In her own words,
I don???t know if you saw this, but vice presidential candidate, Governor Sarah Palin says she???s in favor of a federal ban on gay marriages. Basically wants to change the constitution.
So if you???re wondering, I???m sure you are, how I feel about this. I don???t like, I don???t like it. I don???t agree. Maybe it???s because I???m gay that I think we should all be equal. but I feel that we???re all equal.
Well, DeGeneres was not content with just this and went on to bash the vice presidential candidate with some more hard-hitting words. It doesn’t matter if you happen to be a Governor or a President, when Ellen speaks, no one else does. They just listen!
Well done, Ellen! We don’t love you for nothing!!
