Are my eyes playing tricks on me or are those really pleats I see on Emmy Rossum???s dress? But pleats or not, from a distance this dress looks as if it has been graffitied by either a) an artist who desperately lacks creativity or b) a kindergarten kid who probably wanted to show his dear Aunt Em just how far he had progressed in his (flower) painting classes. And just when I thought that this dress is hideous and that Rossum is able to carry it off only because she is amazingly pretty, I saw the austere-looking black clutch – now THAT is something I can envision only Angelina wrapped-in-great-swathes-of-black Jolie carrying. Oh, come on, you can do better than that Em!
(PS ??? In case you were wondering, Ms. Rossum is heading to the Harvey Weinstein???s and Dior???s Pre-Oscar dinner party in L.A.)
