Eva Longoria and her fiance, basketball player Tony Parker, finally decided to make it official and got married in a civil ceremony in Paris.
The 32-year-old Desperate Housewives star appeared quite cheerful as she exchanged vows with Belgium-born Parker who is seven years younger to her. She arrived at the venue clad in a short pink Chanel dress (which duly got swapped with a strapless white dress once she was inside the venue)and was joined by Parker who showed up in a dark suit.
As per French law, it is mandatory for couples to exchange vows at a city hall, even if they have a church wedding as well. Paris mayor Bertrand Delanoe conducted the civil ceremony which was attended by a handful of guests.
The religious ceremony will be held on Saturday at Paris’s Eglise Saint-Germain l’Auxerrois and will be followed by a star-studded party at a 17th century chateau.
Congratulations to the couple!
