This year’s MTV Video Music Awards hinted an awful trend of wearing cross as a fashion accessory.
Every year at least a few musicians hang crosses around their necks, without even knowing its relevance. This year Axl Rose from Guns N’ Roses wore one; so did rapper 50 Cent.
The cross, which is the most famous symbol in the human history and represents the death of Jesus, has simply been reduced to a fashionable item.
It appears so damn disrespectful and offensive for the cross to be worn as a mere fashion accessory. No wonders…it might even spark a protest some day.
