RANI MUKHERJEE-ADITYA CHOPRA
Rani Mukherjee after her much hollered Abhishek Bachchan episode (or let’s say heart-break drama) decided to give her friendship with Aditya Chopra a relationship status. Aditya Chopra’s divorce with former wife Payal was yet to be finalized but the director went ahead with his engagement plans. Rani was also rumored to be the covert cause for the couple’s divorce.
KARISHMA KAPOOR-SANJAY KAPOOR
Karishma Kapoor, the celebrated Kapoor clan’s good girl, wedded divorcee Sanjay Kapoor. Sanjay was earlier married to designer Nandita Mahtani (who later dated Actor Vivek Oberoi). The couple had bickering matrimony to start with but it didn’t get any shoddier. The couple now has a daughter Samaira.
MAHIMA CHOUDHARY-BOBBY MUKHERJEE
Mahima Choudhary (had a brief association with tennis star Leander Paes earlier) has also confirmed her secret marriage to divorcee Architect Bobby Mukherjee in U.S. Mahima recently gave birth to a baby-girl too.
AMISHA PATEL-VIKRAM BHATT
Vikram Bhatt, earlier dated Sushmita Sen and now is in a live-in relationship with Amisha Patel. Vikram has a daughter from his first marriage. Amisha’s parents say that Vikram’s influence in their daughter’s life has caused strained relations between them and Amisha; but the svelte heroine is obstinate lover.
RAVEENA TANDON-ANIL THADANI
Raveena Tandon, after broking up with Akshay Kumar, tied knot with film distributor Anil Thadani. Anil left his first wife (Natasha) for Raveena. The couple has a daughter Rasha and is believed to have a smooth relationship.
SANGEETA BIJLANI-AZHARUDDIN
Ex-girlfriend of Salman Khan, Sangeeta chose to marry two kids father Azharuddin. The then Indian Cricket Captain left his family and married Sangeeta (she did adopt a Muslim name Ayesha Azhar). The Cricketer later was named in a match-fixing scandal. The couple later opened a gym on Banjara Hills.
SREEDEVI-BONEY KAPOOR
Sreedevi, after being reckoned as the most picture-perfect on-screen pair with Anil Kapoor, fell head over heels for his brother Director Boney Kapoor. Boney was married to Mona at that time and Mona refused to divorce him. But that didn’t impede Boney-Sreedevi, they tied knot in Chennai. They have two daughters Jhanvi and Khushi.
HEMA MALINI-DHARMENDRA
Dream girl Hema malini, chose to be Dharmendra’s second wife, leaving both Jeetendra and Sanjeev Kapoor heart-broken. Hema’s family rejected the relationship prima-facie but the actors, finally, exchanged vows in 1980. They have daughters Esha and Ahana. Esha has already made foray in bolly bizz and Ahana is awaited to debut soon.
SHABANA AZMI-JAVED AKHTAR
The art films product, Shabana Azmi, fell for the lyricist Javed Akhtar. Married men then, Javed divorced writer Honey Irani for Shabana. Director Farhan Akhtar (Lakshya, Dil Chahata Hai fame) is Javed-Honey’s Son.
VYJAYANTHIMALA-Dr. BALI
Vyjayanthimala, after her rumored link up with Raj Kapoor married physician, Dr. Bali (a married man). Vyjayanthimala then turned to conspicuous majority Actor’s arena, Politics. The couple currently stays with their son Suchindra in Chennai.
JAYA PRADA-SRIKANTH NAHATA
Jaya Prada married Shrikanth Nahata, the producer, in 1986. Nahata didn’t divorce his first wife. Jaya Prada, who started her political career with TDP, joined Samajwadi party later. Jaya is in active politics now.
HELEN-SALIM KHAN
Helen, the sultry dancing diva with hourglass figure, got married to the writer Salim Khan. Salim was father of four children at that time but that didn’t stop him from pursuing then Bollywood’s hottest babe. Now Salman and family love Helen as her own mom. Helen starred in 90’s in Khamoshi after a long hibernation.
Sushmita Sen is dating a married Man Manav Menon presently and Shilpa Shetty (hot coal after Big Brother) is reported to have soft-core for Anubhav Sinha, a married man.
