Pop singer Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are no more husband and wife as the couple’s three years of marriage has officially ended in a divorce by signature of a Los Angeles Superior court judge.
Currently both share the custody of their two boys – Sean Preston and Jayden James. However Britney had asked for both legal and physical custody when she had filed for a divorce with Kevin, last year citing “irreconcilable differences”.
At present the children’s custody remain sealed from public view due to media and certain security reasons.
This was second marriage for Britney who had also married childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander in early 2004, which merely lasted fifty-five hours.
The past one-year did not hold good for the pop diva as she embarked on a club-hopping, hard-partying lifestyle, which landed her in shaving her head and entering rehab in February. This was not sufficient, as Federline has recently threatened her to take away the kids if she doesn’t improve her lifestyle.
