At the outset of FDA’s legislation to improvise the labeling system of foods, there are consumer reports that complain about the confusing food labels. The consumer reports do not point put the ignorance of consumers about the labeling contents, but to the fakeness of the labels corresponding to the contents inside a food packet. Facts provided claims that consumes find it weird to find the absence of the mentioned contents on the label inside the box and the same applies to the quantity of food mentioned on the label.

Few days back there were reports by the Vanderbilt University researchers that the nutritional labels appeared to be hard nuts to crack, but taking into consideration the fakeness of labels, the consumers have little chance to face the blame. So it is not that the consumers are confused, but cheated on the labels concerning the food contents and therefore FDA should first make an attempt to put a stop to it, before consumers realizes that his bucks are getting wasted on ‘assuming-labels’.
