Former manager sues Taylor Swift over unpaid commissions

Taylor Swift has joined the elite list of celebrities and entertainers sued by their former managers. The Country singer has been sued by a former manager who claims the star owed him millions of dollars in commissions for playing a key role in launching her career.

According to Contactmusic,

Dan Dymtrow, who managed Swift when she was 14, has filed suit in federal court in New York. He claims his management deals with the singer and her parents offered him a commission from Swift’s career in return for introducing the Love Story star to music executives. In the legal papers, Dymtrow claims he’s owed millions of dollars in commissions for playing a key role in Swift’s career. He further alleges Swift’s parents delayed signing the recording contract until after he had been fired to avoid paying him his commissions. The singer’s attorney, Paul LiCalsi, tells The Hollywood Reporter that any suggestion that Dymtrow’s is responsible for launching his client’s career is “ludicrous”.

I don’t understand why these freeloaders avoid doing a proper homework before accusing a celebrity to rake in the moolah? Though Dan has formulated a nice theory by claiming that Taylor’s parents delayed signing the recording contract until after he had been fired to avoid paying him his commissions, the million dollar question still remains alive. What was he doing all these six long years?! Maybe he was busy chalking the perfect plan.
