One voice that connected stars with their millions of fans, that sonorous voice of Walter Cronkite, will never be heard now. George Clooney remembers the king of the magical voice on his passing away.

“He was the most important voice in our lives for 30 years,” the Oscar-winning star says. The producer of Good Night and Good Luck, a story set during the early days of television broadcast journalism, could relate well to the CBS anchorman, who was the “most trusted man in America” during the heydays of CBS News.

Clooney even goes on to say, “I hate the world without Walter Cronkite.”
