Glenn Beck To MSNBC: “Bend Over”

MSNBC, the mildly left-wing cable news network, recently released a new ad campaign under the slogan: “Lean Forward”. I know, WTF?

It is so sorry, and with this they plan on beating Fox News? ‘Lean Forward’ is so lame. What does that even mean? It is just too lofty for cable news. I know what MSNBC means, that their network seeks to offer more views and informed opinion and thus “lean forward” their viewers into a more learned and preferable more progressive outlook, but slogan should be catchy, straight to the point and direct. Not “Lean Forward”.

Take Fox’s slogan: “Fair and Balanced”. That slogan just works, you get it immediately. It is bravado. But “Lean Forward”? It’s just awful.

And also gay. But not stupid “gay”, but gay gay. I hate to cite Glenn Beck but he’s right about this. He recently mocked them on his radio show: “MSNBC, why don’t you just make your slogan ‘Bend Over?’ Because you lean forward enough and it’s bending over, and I think it would be more appropriate.”

He’s right. Leaning forward enough and you are truly bending over. And it is just so comically and Fox News should have a field day with a liberal network encouraging its viewers, which right-wingers already view as “soft”, to lean forward with them or for them. Just ‘Lean Forward’ in the name of liberalism. We’re all for progress and we all love the gays, right? Just ‘Lean Forward’ while you watch us. Just ‘Lean Forward’ for us! Just ‘Lean Forward’, O’ fuck it! just bend over for us! That’s were we all end.

I am sorry. But I can’t stop laughing. The idea of an implicit Bend Over slogan for a network. Did no one realize how stupid this all is?

But Bend Over is more appropriate for Fox News since it is constantly fucking the American people with its bullshit.
