Strictly Come Dancing star, Kelly Brook was seen in grief when she attended the funeral of her father Kenneth on December 7. Kelly was seen arriving at her mother’s place and she was dressed in black from top to bottom except the pair of purple tights.
The ceremony took place at Medway Crematorium in Chatham. 200 relatives and family friends joined them but the strange thing was that her fiance, Billy Zane was not seen present there. Mr. Parsons was 57 and was suffering from lung cancer and he died last month at home. Kelly’s younger brother Damian and half-sister Sasha also joined their father’s last send-off.
Kelly had banned her celebrity pals to attend the ceremony, according to reports. When asked, a family member refused to answer why was it done.
According to a mourner, people were surprised not to find Billy on this occasion because he had been very supportive to Kelly through out this grieving process.
She was very close to her father and stayed just half an hour from her father’s house though she could have bought any house in posh area very easily. She was trying to convince her father to accept Billy as the right man for her and Kelly was so shocked to not have her father for her wedding.
She won the Strictly Come Dancing competition with her dance partner Brendan Cole and was one of the favourites among all. Kelly wanted to go for the hit BBC 1 ballroom dancing competition because her father wanted her, and she rehearsed a lot but BBC found it was very difficult for her to continue and announced her decision to quit.
