It seems that actress Emma Thompson has forgotten all etiquettes and when this Love Actually protagonist decides to smoke she doesn’t give a damn to non-smoking signs.
Recently Emma not only smoked in a New York restaurant but her irresponsible attitude made other diners furious. To make the matter worse for Emma ‘Men in Black’ star Will Smith was also present in this exclusive Waverly Inn and he too looked visibly annoyed .
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper:
Emma and her friend pulled out their cigarettes and just lit up at the table while everyone was eating. Everyone else was glaring at them in disgust, including Will Smith.
For the records smoking was banned in New York bars and restaurants way back in 2003.
It’s high time that Emma learns to control her urge for cigarette because even in London the smoking would be banned in bars and restaurants from July 1. Emma is married to Greg Wise and the couple has a seven-year-old daughter Gaia Romilly.
