J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter will continue to thrill us 24×7. Sometimes with the magical on-screen adventures and sometimes with some shocking news related to the off-screen adventures of the students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the latest off-screen shockers, Harry Potter star Jamie Waylett has been charged with growing ten cannabis plants.
The 19-year-old actor, who plays Hogwarts bully Vincent Crabbe, was busted in April after cops stopped his Audi car in Westminster, central London, and allegedly found eight bags of the Class B drug. Later, the cops raided his mother???s home in Camden, north London, and found some more drugs. Waylett will appear in court later this month to face the charges of growing ten cannabis plants.
If found guilty, Waylett faces up to 14 years of jail term for cannabis production and five years for cannabis possession. Let’s see if he can produce any magic in the court and avoid the prison term.
