Planet Smoothie, the formulator of fruit smoothie concept and is supposed to be a wing of the Atlanta based Raving Brands. As per reports the Company is going to roll out three new flavors that include Groovy Granny Apple, Way Out Watermelon and Outa Sight Orange and com under one concept of Extremely Far Out Flavors. These flavors were released yesterday in all the 124 Planet Smoothie outlets and Planet Cafe.
The smoothie like any other beverage claims low carb, low cal and low fat, apart from these claims it is reported to be rich in anti-oxidants, anti-stress, immunity booster and calcium. In spite of the health claims made by the single-fruit smoothies, the makers have much faith on the other blends of smoothies.
As per Chris Morocco, executive partner, Raving Brands/Planet Smoothie:
We are excited to add these new smoothie experiences to our menu and offer our customers something out of the ordinary when it comes to smoothies. We hope that our customers may initially be drawn to our extreme flavors, but will always find their way to the healthier side of our core smoothies.
