It is always a bitter story when couples decide to go splitsvile. Glamorous model Heather Mills and ex-Beetles member Paul McCartney were in news recently for their appeal for divorce in the court. The couple married in 2002 and went on their own ways four years later. On Monday, the couple let out a sigh of relief when a justice granted the decree of their divorce in London’s High Court. Well, the price to pay is not less. It seems Heather will enjoy her divorce-hood better than Paul. Paul will have to pay a humongous $48.6 million to his ex-wife The amount breaks down to approximately $33 million in cash and $15.6 million in assets. If that’s not all, Paul will have to look after the four year old daughter’s education and nanny’s fees and will have to make periodic payments of $70,000 to her. Well, the divorce was on the grounds of “separation”. I can imagine a happy Heather, if not for the divorce then surely for the awarded money.
