Heather Mills: “I would rather someone come up and chop off all my limbs than go through what I went through.”

Heather Mills would rather “chop off her limbs” than endure her split from Sir Paul McCartney again.

The former model who lost her left leg in a road accident in 1993 – said she’d give up all her limbs if she could avoid the pain rather than go through another bitter divorce battle.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with US news show Extra, which aired last night, Mills astonished host Dayna Devon when she said:

I would rather someone come up and chop off all my limbs than go through what I went through. It’s wrong when you’re vilified for doing nothing but falling in love with an icon. I’d rather have all of my limbs cut off, that’s the God’s honest truth. I’m a good person. I was just madly in love. Blindly in love.

She also said: “I will never get married again. I’m not saying I wouldn’t fall madly in love or have a soul mate. But I could never go through this again. It’s too devastating.’

The story so far:

In court credentials filed by Heather Mills, she claims that estranged husband Paul McCartney was physically violent towards her. She stated that in October 2002, McCartney grabbed her by the neck and pushed her over a coffee table.

In May 2003 she claims he shoved her into a bath. In October 2003 McCartney told Mills that he did not want her to breast-feed their child, making the comment “they are my breasts” and “I don’t want a mouthful of breast milk”. In April 2006 McCartney poured a bottle of red wine over Mills’ head, he then broke the wine glass and lunged at her with the sharp stem of the wine glass which cut Heather’s arm.

The divorce battle between Mills and McCartney had been worsened. And Mills blames media for bringing false, damaging and immensely upsetting statements regarding her divorce from Sir Paul. Heather Mills was even charged with the allegation that she is romantically involved with her personal trainer Ben Amigoni.

It seems that her bitter experiences of her marriage with McCartney have put her off marriage for the rest of the life. She hopes to fall in love in the future but vows never to marry again.

Mills McCartney, 38, and ex-Beatle McCartney, 64, announced their separation in May and began divorce proceedings in July. They have a 3-year-old daughter, Beatrice. Since then the couple has been rarely out of headlines.
