Heather Mill’s attorneys refuted the claims that she has agreed to a financial settlement of a 32million pound out-of-court settlement deal with estranged hubby Sir Paul McCartney.
Britain’s News of the World paper reported on Sunday, Jan 21, that the couple had reached an agreement, by which Mills would not only get 32 million pounds in cash, but also Macca’s luxury Georgian house in St John’s Wood, north-west London worth 4 million pounds, as well as his home in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles that is now worth 6 million pounds.
Today, Mishcon de Reya Solicitors, who represent Heather Mills McCartney, released the following statement, as quoted by CBS,
With regard to the article in yesterday’s News of the World, we would like to state that there has been no offer made whatsoever at any time to our client and therefore no settlement has been agreed.
Paul McCartney and Heather Mills split in May last year 2006 after four years of marriage, and the pair began divorce proceedings in July 2006.
