According to MTV, the season premiere of The Hills on Monday night was the highest rated episode of the series ever. The reality soap opera depicting the chic climes of Paris, Beverly Hills, and Colorado witnessed a series-high 4.7 million viewers; that’s over a million more than last year premiere. The show is equally famous with the senior citizens and all among 12 to 34-year-olds. Moreover, the episode was streamed 2.2 million times on its Website Tuesday, says MTV.
The show marked the Paris-based Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port being provided a key message about what happens when a clued-up curling iron meets fine fabric, and the Colorado based Heidi Montag and male friend Spencer Pratt working on their angst faces. MTV reported that 1.8 million streams of the show were furthered on Tuesday. So, the show is becoming one of MTV’s most-watched in history, and they show no signals of coming to a standstill.
