Syria and Aleppo have been in this situation for a long time now, every day you find news hitting the headlines about the various things happening in the areas. These show you the pain, the suffering, the torture that every person who is still a part of this zone experiences.
Living in a country that is not broken by natural disasters; but by human conflict, is the pain that can only be felt if you have experienced it. Words can only describe the possibilities of what it is to live in such a country, however, the true experience and feelings of those in such living conditions is unimaginable.
All hell let loose with chaos around
Adults are finding ways to survive and fend for their families. With shortage of the basic survival necessities like food, water and medical aid, one can only sit to ponder what life truly is for those in a world that is torn by war. Waking up to a home that is half broken down, or to streets that is filled with blood is nothing but a nightmare.
But what about those who actually live in such conditions?

How does it feel to pick up the bodies of those people who were one day laughing and joking with you and the other day lie lifeless in front of you?
These questions cannot be answered in words; this is because this is something which has to be felt. No matter what we say, what we write, we can only empathize with the situation. To actually feel the feelings and pain, to actually hear the cries of dismay, to actually understand what it means to eat whatever you get even if it is are left behind. All this can be felt when you live in the midst of a country that is presently in such a situation.
Basic necessities are not accessible anymore
We often sit down to complain about various things that irritate us when we have access to all the best resources in the world. Little do we realize that we are blessed, there are children suffering and dying every minute because their cries are going to deaf ears. Doctors sit in confusion and have to make choices on the basis of the medical supplies that they have. They have to decide if it is worth treating a patient or not, even if they do treat a patient, they are not sure if their efforts will actually pay off.
Where once the pictures and videos reflected the smiles and laughter, today it is the unanswered question of when things will come to an end. What is the future of the people living here? Would the kids ever grow out of their childhood and lead a normal life? Will things ever get back to how they were? These questions can only be answered by Time.
