The other day, I was doing one of my “weird, off base” online searches, and I came across a page that is dedicated to suicide… I browsed through it and found this post by someone, who was very generously telling people how to commit a successful suicide, and die…
Yes people, this is real. This guy has included details of exactly what to do to make sure that this is the last act you commit in your life. The razor, the warm water, and the cut… I will not include those details here for fear of being another provider of such information.
The post looked more like a “DVD-Player-Manual-Guide”. This is how cheap human life has become. One person providing people he knows nothing about with instructions of how to end their lives. Of course, he starts his post with questions, two of which were: 1) Do you feel there is no other way out of your misery? And 2) Is there nothing at all you’d rather be doing? He then goes: “Make sure you answer these questions honestly and carefully, because you won’t get a chance to change your answer later on. If you did answer ‘yes’ to all the questions listed above, then you are ready to slash your wrists.” So I guess this guy thinks he had done his job making things clear for suicidal people reading his post, and then gave them the key to “free will”. I am not sure how he would feel if he (the writer of the post) hears about someone who went through his genius steps and died, leaving behind a loving family, friends, and maybe little children? Or maybe someone with a mental disorder decided to go with it?!! I bet that wouldn’t feel so great…
I hate to say that the web needs censoring. I am all for freedom of publishing, but I seriously think that these people should be made aware of the consequences of such posts.
The world never seizes to amaze me!!!
