Hugh Hefner is all set to get an official stamp on his bachelor status. The 83-year-old casanova – and the founder of Playboy – has reportedly filed for divorce from his wife, and former Playmate, Kimberly.
According to Fox News,
The Playboy founder filed for divorce on Friday from his wife and former Playmate, Kimberly. Hefner and Kimberly Conrad Hefner were married in 1989, the same year she was named Playmate of the Year. They separated in 1998. Hefner continued to live at the mansion, and Kimberly Hefner moved into a home next door with the couple’s two young sons.
However, the main reason behind Hef’s decision to seek an official divorce from Kimberly is not his desire to attain official bachelorhood. Hef’s decision is totally calculated. He wants to save some money, maybe for the twins. He has been paying $40,000 per month in spousal support to Kimberly since they separated in 1998. And now he wants to bring that figure to exact half, i.e., $20,000 per month.
Anyway, I’m happy with Hef’s decision. No, seriously! I’m looking at it from a different angle. Hef’s divorce loosely translates into a series of grand celebrations at Playboy Mansion, And I just love those parties, if you know what I mean. Come on, Hef. Bring it soon!
P.S. Mark my words, Hef’s gonna marry the twins.
