Iconic Devonport Food and Wine Festival is going to be held in Windsor Reserve, Devonport on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 February, 2006, from 11am to 7pm on Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sunday. This festival will feature an array of 30 different varieties of foods and wines. The pre-purchase tickets at $25 will fetch you a free glass of wine. There will be 18 wine exhibitors and 14 food exhibitors. There will be different entertainment programmes and the proceeds will go to charity organizations whose beneficiaries would be First Tee and the Michael King Writers’ Centre.
This event has been raising over 1.5 million dollars since 1990 and even this year the proceeds from the event is expected to do a lot for the cause of humanity.
