Masahiro Kato from Shiroishi has won the Noodle eating contest, drawing in 241 bowls of ‘wanko’ soba. This 38 year old man won this title for the second time in a row, eating noodles from 24 normal-sized bowls. The contest was held in Hanamaki, the birth place of wanko soba noodles.
It becomes difficult to clean a large plate of noodle; I wonder how Kato managed to clean 241 bowls of noodles. Congratulations to Masahiro Kato for his breathless sucking-in of noodles.
