An insurance company, Western General Insurance, has sued James Cameron and one of his employees, Oscar Escalante, for hitting a light pole.

According to the company, James Cameron’s employee was driving a car registered at Cameron’s home address and he smashed it with a pole that knocked out their office power for three days.

The company has claimed that the accident cost about $125,000 and registered a case of negligence against James Cameron and Oscar Escalante.

It seems that Oscar Escalante was trying James Cameron’s onscreen stunts. The scene while the car smashed on the pole must be similar to the Titanic when it banged into the iceberg.
