Iron Man 2 may have ended up as a corroded pile at the box office, but it’s still standing tall in at least one list – MovieMistakes.com‘s Bloopers List! The Robert Downey, Jr. starrer has been named the most mistake-filled movie of 2010 so far and has topped the list with 45 goofs and continuity errors.

The film, starring Robert Downey, Jr., contains 45 goofs and continuity errors, including props that change location during a scene and blunders during fight sequences. Martin Scorsese’s thriller Shutter Island is second in the chart – compiled by staff at MovieMistakes.com – with 34 gaffes, while the big screen version of The A-Team is in third, with 31 errors. Kick-Ass is in fourth place, with 15 mistakes, and Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland rounds out the top five, with 12 errors.
I still don’t get why movie producers aim for the box office and end up with so many goofs in their released work. Oh, wait, I just remembered that Scarlett Johansson was one of the cast in Iron Man 2. I’m not too sure but that just might be one of the reasons for the failure of the producers and the post production team to notice the errors.
