We are observing, in the political arena, a tussle between various self acclaimed educationist, politicians & media, on whether the reform have become a necessity for our education system.
My view is affirmative, reasons:
:Education means mental/physical growth of an individual, & present education system in India is not fulfilling this basic definition.
:Education is running on age old way of teaching & mugging, which is now getting obsolete as the way of learning.
:With the technological advancements sneaking into the education system, these are also demanding reforms to aid these for the maximum benefits.
:Education should involve the local society in reforms as well as students should be involved in the social activities to groom their personality accordingly.
Whether the present bunch of pseudo educationists, who are leading the issue, are the best people for the thing is also a concern.
