‘Everyday Italian’ host, Giada De Laurentiis has confessed on ‘Today Show’ that she is pregnant with her first child with hubby, designer Todd Thompson. The baby has been confirmed a ‘girl’ by several sonograms which she recently had after knowing the pregnancy news.
De Laurentiis wedded Todd Thompson in 2003, after dating him for a decade. Todd is currently a clothing designer for the Anthropologie fashion company.
The baby, due in April next year has already made the expectant parents thrilled. Chef De Laurentiis well known for her Everyday Italian, Behind the Bash, Giada’s Weekend Getaways, and Giada in Paradise shows is also a cookbook writer.
She also happens to be the granddaughter of producer Dino De Laurentiis and has penned down books like Everyday Italian and Giada’s Family Dinners.
I hope that the pregnancy news comes out a good reply from chef De Laurentiis, 37, to all those who had long tormented her by saying:
“You know you’re getting older! You can’t have children forever.”
