Superbly superstitious, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker have been waiting for 7-7-07, as they feel that the three 7’s will bring them luck.
After two years of courtship, full of ups and downs, the ‘Desperate Housewives’ star got engaged to the San Antonio Spurs guard in November 2006. The two are now planning to tie the nuptial knot on July 7, 2007, because Parker considers the date auspicious and thinks the date is lucky, according to Us Weekly.
Tony is extremely superstitious and thinks 07-07-07 is the day most lucky to get married on
an unnamed source revealed to the magazine.
The couple is known to be considering Chateau de Chantilly, a ‘fairy-tale-like’ castle north of Paris for their wedding venue. Fashion designer Monique Lhuillier will be designing the wedding trousseau for the couple. Longoria, 31, has hired event planner Mindy Weiss to work on details of the nuptials. The two will be teaming with Parker’s mother, Pamela and work out the finer details.
