It seems that Padma Lakshmi???s doting daughter Krishna Thea is taking to the Big Apple just as fish takes to water. It could all be in the genes after all Padma Lakshmi confesses she loves living in the city, be it Mumbai or New York. Padma???s celebrity daughter seems to like the arc lights and flashes, photogenic as her mother; this toddler does not shy away from the camera at all.

She???s definitely a city baby. I was a city child too, whether it was in a big Indian city like Bombay or here in New York City, so she???s the same. She loves being in the city.
She???s growing every day and always learning and seeing and discovering new things. So it???s wonderful to see the world through her eyes. She eats what I eat. She???s on a lacto-vegetarian Indian diet. She???s still breastfeeding, that???s where the lacto part comes in. She can???t eat the spicy food that I love since it would be too hard on her system but other than that she???ll eat the foods that I make for her.
This toddling lil??? celebrity has her own share of celebrity playmates, Top Chef???s judge Tom Colicchio???s elder son Luka and new born son Mateo. Padma Lakshmi and Krishna are all set to take long strides in the Big Apple living the good life!
