Simon Cowell may be having a hectic time finalizing the judges for US X Factor, but the man has just added a new task on his agenda. Reportedly, he is devoting precious time to reduce weight and get back in shape. After adding a few stones on a recent trip to the UK, the music tycoon has become disciplined when it comes to his food habits.

According to Contactmusic,

The 51-year-old music mogul has reportedly vowed to cut out carbohydrates altogether and is tucking into vegetable smoothies for lunch in a bid to shed the weight he gained by over-indulging in his favourite home-cooked meals while visiting Britain.
Simon is now reportedly hoping to lose 14lb and get in great shape in time for the launch of the US version of his talent search show ‘The X Factor’.
Simon said: “I work out a lot. I take care of myself.”

Judging The X Factor doesn???t come easy. After a weight-gain spree he is out to fight flab. Sitting sandwiched between two sexy judges comes with an added responsibility to match up with their oomph and aura. While the contestants will be practicing day and night to sharpen their skills, Cowell will be busy grooming himself. It seems Simon is feeling the pressure to look good, after all it’s America calling.
