The music world suffered a jittering shock on Saturday as guitarist Jack Rose aka Dr. Ragtime died of a heart attack at the raw age of 38. Rose was one of the founding member of the cult group Pelt. It’s a sad news for rock fans all over the world.

Guitarist JACK ROSE has died at the age of 38. The rocker, a founding member of the cult group Pelt, passed away on Saturday (05Dec09) after suffering a heart attack. Rose was known for his experimentation with genres, incorporating elements of folk and ragtime with classical Eastern sounds into his music. His 10th solo album, Luck In The Valley, is set for posthumous release in February (10).
Rose will always be remembered for his daring ventures into new realms of music to better his music and bring more entertainment to his fans.
