Jacko lives on! A new posthumous single by the King of Pop is all set to hit the charts and rule the hearts and minds of his fans. As per reports, Jacko’s new single, This Is It, which is part of a two-disc album, will hit the airwaves on October 12. The album itself is scheduled for an international release on October 26.
Reuters reports,
Sony Music said the first disc of the two-disc album will feature some of Jackson’s greatest hits plus two versions of the new single “This Is It.” The song includes backing vocals by Jackson’s brothers.
The second disc will include unreleased versions of some of the singer’s classic tracks and a spoken word poem entitled “Planet Earth” performed by Jackson and never heard before.
However, this isn’t just the end of it. Apart from the music album, a film by the same name is also scheduled to hit theaters the very next day, i.e., October 28. Though the movie is based on bare footage from the final concert rehearsals (of Jacko’s ill-fated This Is It tour), it is sure to be a crowd gatherer.
