Finally some good has come out of the Spears’ family drama.
Recent reports about the Nickelodeon show Zoey 101 had suggested that the show had fell short of educating young audiences about sex-related issues.
Now the channel is planning to take some action in the direction and reports confirmed that a special on Sex Ed will soon be aired.
Linda Ellerbee, the veteran newswoman who has often featured in talks shows which helped explain difficult issues in the news to children, has been roped in by the channel for the special.
Ellerbee told the Associate Press:
I think it’s important that something be done. But I think it’s important that it be done in a measured way, and not just to feed the beast of news stories.
I hope this initiative can knock some sense into them teenagers and teach them how not to get knocked up at 16.
