A Los Angeles court ruled yesterday that Jamie Spears, Britney’s father, will continue to be in control of Britney’s affairs and act as a permanent conservator of all her affairs. Samuel Ingham, Britney’s court-appointed lawyer, has stated that Britney is perfectly comfortable with the new ruling and has no objection to the permanent conservatorship.
Jamie Spears was granted temporary conservatorship of her daughter’s affairs just after the infamous incident in which Britney tried to kill herself. The conservatorship was supposed to end on December 31, 2008, but the same was made permanent after an evaluation of her mental health records. According to the Los Angeles Superior Court, Jamie will also act as the permanent co-conservator of her estate, along with her attorney Andrew Wallet.
However, Britney can regain control of her life anytime in future, provided she gets a green signal from her doctors.
