English actor and songwriter, Mick Jagger, has been accused by his ex-wife Jerry Hall for being too tight with money and sometimes even miser. However, Mick Jagger, the famous singer of renowned Rolling Stones band, has denied these allegations by calling them absurd.
In an interview with the Evening Standard Jagger said:
I have always paid all expenses for the children as well as the lion’s share of the costs relating to her lifestyle and I was more than happy to do so.
The couple shared a very intimate relationship in 1970s and got married in a traditional Indian manner. However, their marriage was considered void as per the English laws.
The two separated when model Luciana Gimenez claimed that she is pregnant with Jagger’s child and even DNA test proved that it was indeed Jagger’s baby. Trying to divorce Jagger, Hall discovered that the pair’s wedding by Hindu ritual nine years ago was not recognized by English law, making her unable to file the divorce. With no other option Hall put an end to 22 years of her relationship with Mick.
Jagger is all set for the rehearsals of Stones’ summer tour shortly, whereas Hall is preparing for her appearance in Eve Ensler’s play ‘The Vagina Monologues’.
