Thriller ‘The Eye‘, has been taken by Lionsgate from Paramount with Cruise/Wagner producing. They are under intense negotiations with Jessica Alba to star in the movie. The movie is a remake of 2003 Hong Kong film, The Eye, studio is planning to hire Xavier Palud and David Moreau for direction. Filming of the movie is expected to kick off this winter, immediately after Jessica Alba finishes shooting for Fantastic Four 2.
The Eye, is about a cornea transplant recipient who sees shocking images in the mirror and decided to find out what happened to the previous owner of the eyes.
