This Saturday Night, all the known faces of Hollywood were seen together again. It was 2006 MTV Movie Awards, we can call it an award function with a difference. It takes a lighthearted look at the industry it honors. Dresses matter the least here and acceptance speeches are filled with f-word and other slangs.
Jessica Alba played host for the show and got lucky as she took home her own Golden Popcorn trophy, for her raunchy striptease act in ‘Sin City.’ In her acceptance speech, she thanked all the perverts who voted for her. At the end she said practice safe sex and drive hybrids if you can.

Last year’s ‘Wedding Crashers‘, proved out to be the biggest winner at the event as it claimed 3 trophies including best movie. Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson earned the best on-screen team award.
Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger took away the award for best kiss in the movie, ‘Brokeback Mountain.’ For his performance in ‘Batman Begins‘, Christian Bale was awarded with the title of best hero. Hayden Christensen got an award for best villain for his performance in ‘Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith‘.
Jim Carey was awarded with MTV Generation Award for his diverse body of work.
